When a vehicle is imported into the UK from Japan, it must meet UK vehicle regulations. One of the ways to prove that your imported vehicle meets such standards, is by having an Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) test done. This then proves that your vehicle is complaint with UK vehicle regulations.
We offer full and complete registration of your imported vehicle. We collect your vehicle from yourselves, (or even from the port itself.) We then start to prepare the vehicle for the IVA test. This entails, but is not limited to, the installation of a rear fog lamp, conversion of KMH to MPH, and, depending on your vehicle, possible modification of the headlights may be needed to ensure UK compliance.
Once your vehicle has passed the IVA test, we then do an MOT test for your vehicle. Upon passing the MOT test, all the documents are then promptly sent to the DVLA via Royal Mail recorded delivery.
Once the V5C (also know as ”logbook”) has arrived, we then make the numbers plates for your vehicle, and affix them to your car. Your vehicle is then promptly delivered to your home/chosen destination, with the V5C (logbook), IVA and MOT certificates in-hand.
